- 2017 Spring Grant Cycle Awards totaled $35,190:
COMEA Inc., $3,400 to build a children’s play area at the shelter
Family Promise of Cheyenne (formerly Interfaith Hospitality Network), $5,000 to help purchase a van to transport families
Friday Food Bag Foundation, $5,000 to purchase food, bags, and supplies to make food bags for children in need in Laramie County School District #1
LCSD #2, $1,890 to purchase athletic shoes and socks for students in need (54 students)
Magic City Enterprises, Inc., $4,400 to help remove barriers to employment for those with intellectual disabilities by providing grooming and clothing assistance
Community Schools Initiative- United Way of Laramie County, $5,000 to help start the initiative with student need surveys, ultimately creating a stronger community centered around the school to advance opportunities for children and their families
- 2016 Spring Grant Cycle awards:
Cheyenne Children's Museum:This grant will help fund a mobile museum that will house exhibits targeting children ages 2-7 with a universal design so children with disabilities can interact next to their peers.Laramie County Library Foundation:This grant will help fund the 2016 Summer Reading Celebration which provides programs that help children maintain and improve their reading skills by encouraging readying throughout the summer.Laramie County Community Partnership Strong Families Action Team:This grant will help fund the construction of an unaccompanied youth residence, which will house unaccompanied homeless youth in Cheyenne to help them achieve high school graduation.ASK (After School for Kids):This grant will help to expand the program to Afflerbach Elementary School. ASK is an after school enrichment and academic program designed to benefit at risk and title I children within Laramie County School District #1Habitat for Humanity:This grant will help fund the Blueprint for the Future which is a collaborative educationproject that gives high school students the opportunity to build a Habitat Home.

In 2001, the Foundation established a goal to accumulate $300,000 of base investment corpus for Grants. Until that was met the board allocated one-half of the Foundation's annual income to Grants and the other one-half to meeting the $300,000 goal. As of September 2007, the Foundation has assets totaling $318,490. So during the 2007-2008 period the Foundation was able to grant 100% of its earnings. These earnings, along with money provided by the Club thru the KHTE were granted $40,550. However, due to the recent downturn in the economy our corpus has dropped and we are again moving toward the $300,000 goal. Due to the downturn in our economy, the amount we were able to grant out for 2008-2009 was about half of the prior years amount.
The Foundation has an actively managed portfolio with investment advice and guidance from Club member and Past President and Certified Financial Planner Dixie Roberts. The Foundation has a sub-committee that meets with Dixie quarterly to review the investment performance and discuss the portfolio allocation.
