Golden Ticket Raffle Official Rules

• The raffle is conducted by Cheyenne Kiwanis Club Foundation (“Sponsor”), a nonprofit organization organized and operated for charitable purposes in the State of Wyoming. Raffles conducted for charitable purposes by nonprofit organizations are exempt from Wyoming’s illegal gambling statutes pursuant to Wyoming law. [gaming.wyo.gov]

• Raffle tickets may be purchased by individuals 18 years of age or older.
• Tickets may be sold and purchased only within the State of Wyoming.
• Tickets may only be acquired from a member of the Cheyenne Kiwanis Club
• Employees, officers, and members of the Sponsor are eligible to participate unless otherwise restricted by internal policy.
• No purchase is void where prohibited by law.

• Total number of tickets available: 500
• Ticket price: $100 per ticket
• Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Once all 500 tickets are sold, no additional tickets will be issued.
• Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

• Drawing Date: No later than September 3, 2026
• The drawing will be conducted at a time determined by Kiwanis using a random selection process.
• Each ticket has one chance to win.
• A ticket may win only one prize.
• Prizes are awarded in the order drawn.
• Kiwanis reserves the right to change the drawing date and conduct the drawing prior to the expected drawing date if all tickets are sold ahead of schedule.

1. First Prize: Three (3) ounces of gold in the form of 1 ounce pure gold coins
2. Second Prize: $7,500 cash
3. Third Prize: $2,500 cash
4. No substitution, transfer, or assignment of prizes is permitted except at the Sponsor’s discretion.

• Winners will be determined by the ticket number drawn.
• Winners do not need to be present to claim their prize
• Winners will be notified using the contact information provided on the ticket stub.
• It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure their contact information is accurate and legible.
• Winners must present the original ticket to claim a prize.
• Prizes must be claimed within a reasonable period as determined by the Sponsor.
• Winner must claim the prize in person or obtain delivery at their cost and responsibility.

• All federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
• Winners may be required to complete an IRS Form W-9 prior to receiving a prize.
• Cash prizes and prize values may be reported to taxing authorities as required by law.

• 100% of net raffle proceeds (gross receipts less the cost of prizes) will be used for charitable purposes consistent with the mission of the Cheyenne Kiwanis Club and Cheyenne Kiwanis Club Foundation.
• Raffles conducted for non-charitable purposes are not permitted under Wyoming law. [gaming.wyo.gov]

• Wyoming does not require a state license for charitable raffles conducted by qualifying nonprofit organizations. [gaming.wyo.gov], 
• The raffle is conducted pursuant to Wyoming Statutes governing gambling exceptions for charitable raffles. [law.justia.com]

• Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the raffle if circumstances beyond its control compromise the integrity of the drawing.
• Sponsor’s decisions regarding the raffle and interpretation of these rules are final.
• By purchasing a ticket, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and applicable Wyoming law.
