For those who are new to the club and/or unfamiliar, Stars of Tomorrow is a talent show for K-12 kids in our community. Stars of Tomorrow is a national program sponsored by Kiwanis and has a long history in Cheyenne--this will be our 69th show!

I am working on the details for the show, but will not be able to finalize things until after the first of the year. This is because the school district does not allow booking of its facilities more than 90 days in advance. Tentatively, the plan is as follows:

EVENT DESCRIPTIONDATETIMELOCATION
Elementary auditions3/145:30-9:30 p.m.East High
Junior High/High School auditions3/165:30-9:30 p.m.East High
Rehearsal4/158:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.Central High
Show4/1612:00-5:00 p.m.Central High

We had hoped to hold rehearsal and the show at the Surbrugg/Prentice Auditorium at LCCC, but they do not have dates that work for our needs.

There are a number of jobs for volunteers, including but not limited to:
Judging at auditions
Stage crew
Program ad sales
Contestant "wrangler"
Publicity
Awards coordinator
Food donations
Food preparation/serving
Sound

I've been fortunate to have a great crew of volunteers over the past couple of years, but I'd love to give them some assistance while getting new folks involved. That's where you come in!

Please let me know if you're interested in joining the Stars of Tomorrow crew. Email me at lwalter@wvista.com or call/text (315) 427-5612.

Thanks,
Lorrell Walter
