CFD is almost upon us.
There are opportunities for Kiwanis Club members to participate outside of volunteering for the Pancake Breakfasts. (Remembering that volunteering to help stage the breakfasts should be number one on our list.)
On Tuesday, July 23, the Kiwanis International President will be hosted at an informal dinner/BBQ to be held at the Warehouse at 5 pm. All members and a guest are welcome to attend. Please contact Chuck Tyler if you plan to attend. There is a limit of 50 attendees for this event.
That same evening, the International President will be attending the Melodrama at the Atlas Theater downtown. Chuck Tyler has reserved 80 seats for Kiwanis Club members and their guests for the performance, which starts at 7 pm. Contact him for tickets. (Payment may be charged to your club bill.)
On Wednesday, the International President will be attending the Breakfast in the morning. It's a great time to meet informally with her.
Wednesday evening features an event for Club officers and directors, an informal dinner at Kent and Laura Drake's new home. Contact Chuck Tyler if you intend to attend this get-together.
Thursday features the annual presentation by the Indian Committee at the noon Club lunch meeting. Lunch that day begins at 11:00 AM.
Saturday, July 27, there will be an Honor Dance at the Indian Village at 3 pm. All members and guests are invited to attend this celebration.
