The Cheyenne Kiwanis Foundation was established in September, 1971, to facilitate and further the purposes and objectives of Kiwanis in Cheyenne.  It is incorporated as a non-profit corporation under the laws of the State of Wyoming.  All members of the Kiwanis Club of Cheyenne are members of the Foundtion.

The Foundation can be the recipient of gifts of money, securities, or other property, and will be exempt from any income taxes even on accumulated funds or property. Gifts to the Foundation will entitle donors to deductions for income tax purposes as set forth in the Internal Revenue Service Code and Regulations. Members may wish to make bequests in their wills, or a gift to the Foundation could be a very fitting memorial for a departed friend or a family member.

The initial activity of the Foundation was the establishment of Magic City Enterprises, a workshop to provide work experience and training for the adult developmentally disabled and neurologically handicapped. The Cheyenne Kiwanis Foundation also provides assistance to other community service agencies in their charitable works. Other special projects may be undertaken by the Foundation on its own initiative or at the request of the Board of Directors of the Kiwanis Club of Cheyenne.

The Bonham Fellowship was established to pay tribute to the leadership and service of Past Rocky Mountain District Kiwanis Governor and member, Dwight Bonham. Kiwanis members receive the Bonham when a donation of $1,000 is given to the Foundation.
