This event has been postponed from April 14th because of the inclement weather forecasted for this weekend. It has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 28th.
This is our annual Spring cleanup of areas which the Club has traditionally taken under its wing. Excellent project for new members. Only takes a couple hours on a Saturday morning. Supplies provided (reflector vests, bags). Work gloves recommended (remember those gloves you received at induction to Kiwanis?).
The Highway Clean up group will meet at 9 am at the Loaf and Jug on Vandehei. Tim Sheppard will be heading this up.
The Sloan's Lake clean-up crew will meet simultaneously at the Kiwanis Community House. If you have waders or a boat, these have proven useful in the past to clean up the water-borne trash. If not, you may stay dry as you help clean up the park. Kathleen Petersen will be the crew chief.
